He never though, did he?

The ref did. I mean, he gave Fellaini a speaking to for nothing. The obvious indication that the next foul is a booking. Why? - Because prior the talking to Hull City players were waving imaginary yellow cards for a tackle which Fellaini was 5 yards away from...

I don't dispute he's getting a raw deal at the moment but it's something he's going to have to deal with. You don't ever see refs changing their ways, they all stick together, so it's down to him to pull himself up and work on his tackling. You could just imagine the stick he'd get at Anfield with their lot on the refs back.

Ferguson was much the same, blown up against mainly because of who he was and that he won so much in the air. Thankfully he doesn't have Duncans nasty streak so he should be able to work on it.

Bruce you pointed out that if he was getting riled up by Hull City, it would be worse for him against Liverpool.

But, he never got "riled up" against Hull. That was my point.

And lets not forget he has played a full game against Liverpool before...

He's a big dope, not very clever. He needs to learn from this, he's becoming a bit of a liability during games. Always close to getting sent off.

Hmmm

Wouldn't go that far.

He got the opener dont forget. And currently leading the MOTM poll. Far from a liability.

It's hard to tell on these things, but just to throw Moyesie a bone here (although I think he should shoulder responsibility in any case), but I wonder if an apparently more cautious head like Irvine would have been still present whether that HT substitution might have been made?

I'm talking about nearly don't sent off every game, he's always so close. It also limits his game, I've seen him just let people run past him because he doesn't want to tackle them. Your basically playing with 9 outfield players when the opposition team has the ball.

I have no problems with his play when we have the ball, that's not what I'm talking about.

I love him but he's a [Poor language removed] of a professional to get himself booked today.

boy oh boy does he need coaching.

11-0-0 and 2 goaless draws against the [Poor language removed], I'd take it.

Also LOVE Moyes but he did mess up here. Take the clumsy head off !

Feilani is so awkward... no words. :(

Neiler, you're not from out of town by any chance are you?

I find it hard to believe there's many that would agree with you.

Unbelievable statement.

Sure am mate, maybe that makes a difference to my thinking but am fairly confident im far outnumbered by [Poor language removed] fans over here. Think 500 to one.

The truth is the derby however it goes will be an after thought to the whole season come the end. I would find it hard to beleive that most Everton fans would prefer to win a derby then get into Europe.

Just heard Moyes post match comment, he said he was thinking about taking Fellaini off at HT, but he looked back to the Newcastle game when we lost a 2-0 lead, so he was giving him another 10-15mins in the 2nd half. He took a chance and it backfired, its not about tactics, its about risk taking. We won the game and Fellaini helped win us this game, sadly he wont be around to help us beat the [Poor language removed], but he will for the other hard games against arse and utd.
