Debatable, mate. Like Joe Royle said, it was dangerous play. But it wasn't intentionally dangerous. I probably would have given him the benefit of the doubt if he hadn't been warned earlier.

Strange how Graeme Sharp seemed to miss one single occasion that the Ref warned Fellaini or indeed any other player. Did'nt the same Ref book screech at Villa earlier on this season? I think he did. He completely lost the plot in the second half.

He warned him after 14 minutes. Sharpy clearly wasn't paying attention.

I dont how it was even remotely dangerous, if it was Baines raising his feet that high then yes, but he is something like 6ft 5 and his foot was barely off the ground, he also touched it away before the defender got remotely near it

Didnt the referee indicate it was for consistent fouling or something.

I may have just made this up.

Yeah it was. He was clearly warned early in the first for persistant fouling.

Then 90 seconds in to the second half he fouls so the ref had to give a booking.

The debatable bit is whether the "fouls" were actually fouls in the first place.

When he booked him he did point to 4 or 5 areas of the pitch.

The amount of times the big fella got fouled though was ridiculous, and they weren't pitiful fouls for debatable high feet, he was getting cleaned out persistently (n)(n)

I voted yes and I'm standing by my decision. He was warned by the ref that he was walking a tight rope and should've adressed his style to that. As long as he doesn't learn how to do that, he'll continue to get booked for these nothing fouls. The refs won't change, so he'll have to. I'm confident he'll adapt though.

In the first half osman nearly got his head taken off and the ref waved play on. didnt see the fellaini booking as i was still getting back to my seat from the half time pint.

HB is often very wrong but he hates to admit it. He knows that himself, he argues a case even when he doesn't have one.

That's his style, that's how he rolls so to speak. That's why I think he's a good poster in all honesty. He's funny without trying to be funny.
