Drop Arteta?

He can't tackle for [Poor language removed] like. He just lets them go pass and [Poor language removed] them down and shrugs his shoulders as if they've just dived.

Honest here though, just proper twatted this lad out in 6 a side, skinned me a treat, so i just snapped him. Sin bin 3 mins lad!

His tackling is superb, it's a unique way of tackling. Refs are just picking on him.

I'm not critisising him, he's just a great player to watch.

He gives you everything. Moments of class combined with moments of sheer clumsiness. He's just a nuisence, a big akward nuisence.

Can you imagine if he scored a wonder goal, dribbling past 5 or 6 players and then side footing it into the net. It'd take half an hour but it'd be incredible, it'd be like watching a full length film. That's cracked me up just thinking about it. I long for that day.

No need to drop Arteta although he needs a kick up the behind at times. Take him off set pieces at times to vary the options, and most importantly, play him in a free role. Arteta is never a winger like some have suggested in the past, he never will be.

I noticed Osman, Pienaar and Van der Meyde all took corners against Villa. Maybe this is the new thing, three players taking them instad of one. I hope so anyway as his set pieces are very hit and miss.

His performances have improved big time though, he's been one of our best players of late. I wouldn't drop any of the current starting eleven, I think we are finally starting to get some balance in the side.

It was pleasing to see that we actually controlled the Villa game and we had periods in the Spurs game where we where on top. We very rarely do that so for me it's a big positive. We've just got to cut out those lapses...:@

Agreed. Definately on the set pieces, a little rotation will make us less predictable.

If Arteta is never a winger, he did a [Poor language removed] good impression for two seasons as one of the best in the league.
