God it's so boring when our own fans write off our players when they've seen them play for about 14 minutes.

25+ appearances, mostly as a substitute like but still. It's also equally boring when people are overly positive and think everyone's boss when they're not. Some players just aren't up to it at the moment or in certain positions, and if you play them rather than look for replacements it'll cost points.

On 85 minutes
On 79 minutes
On 84 minutes
On 79 minutes
Started (Funnily enough the game you mentioned where he was good)
On 61 minutes
On 73 minutes
On 88 minutes

etc.

Judging him off those kinds of appearances is crazy.

It's not really boring is it. Oh, what's that, someone's opinion on a player, how tedious, I certainly won't be paying any attention to that.

Seem to recall you saying he was gash defensively after seeing him play for a lot more than Oviedo.

If he can become the player he is then why can't Oviedo improve ? That's if he's as bad as you seem to think, which is debatable to say the least.

Oh look, I got it wrong on one player, my opinion on all others must be invalid.

Incidentally Coleman didn't play at full back until Moyes thought the defensive side of his game had improved, and still looked ropey the first few months. While Oviedo can improve, of course, and is technically sound, we can't afford to let him improve while in the first team at full back right now because it'll cost us too many points in what looks like it could be a promising season.
