Why u turn into such a prick Davey ?

the level of disrespect he has shown to a club that he was at for 10+ years is unbelievable. never seen anything like it.

honestly, even though i dont like the mancs, when it was first announced i actually hoped hed do rather well there as i dislike city and chelski more... but now i find myself in the rare situation of rooting along with the RS for his failure!

nice user name lad

I have a feeling we got a good deal for Fellaini as the understanding is that in exchange they will get Baines on the cheap either in January or next summer. Maybe, if Moyes has any shred of decency/honesty left, the comments today put an end to that.

But I doubt it.

He'll be too old to justify then imo. I reckon Moyes needs respected players who are willing to support his regime NOW mate.

He's making excuses for utd's terrible transfer window and the fact that Fellaini was never there primary target. It was quite clear in the press that utd had given up realistically signing baines nearly a week before the window shut.

There all about saving face now, aswell as making Fellaini and the fans not feel like he was a after thought signing. Or at least not a average signing. Pathetic really for a club of there stature.

Fair play to Baines, i will say this though if we had accepted a fee for him, i think he would be there.

I think if Moyes wasnt so mean with the transfer fee this prob would have happened - but i have ultimate respect for Legihton not agitatng for the move like Utd had planed. A move away i think will be less of an issue as time ticks by. Though Utd could be back in desperation if they have a bad spell pre Xmas.

In fairness no matter how loyal you are, why would you stay at a club that has accepted a bid for you when your not even pushing for a move, Big Dunc to Newcastle springs to mind

Moyes is a nobhead. Clearly used us a stepping stone, but we're far far bigger than he'll ever be the backstabbing ginger tit.

Baines on the other hand, he'll get the loudest clappest ever from me today, and he deserves is. Legend. Now offer him a 50 year contract.

That knobhead has completely unsettled him. Baines must be sick at the moment, watching Fellaini on his new pay deal and talking about playing for the biggest club in he world. A part of him must be thinking his decency in not demanding a move has been used against him (ill bet that was what Moyes was whispering in his ear). We'll do well if he's still playing to the usual standards
