You what lad???

Well with regards Baines last Year, it was more so the fact that United were offering him all sorts, so the assumption was he would leave, but Baines is a good lid, so he told them to koff, I would assume he will do the same this Summer.

But I am never and have never claimed to be ITK, I know fck all and mostly just give my viewpoint on matters.

To state that again, im not ITK.

I stand by it, my diplomatic answer for awhile now has been: we just won't miss him, and £20 million or more > his contribution to the season

Crown or court jester?

Massive player as well as a huge asset.

Saying we wont miss him would mean only gibson as a recognized centre mid. If taken literally...

Not sure why you dont rate him, for me in defensive midfield hes one of the best players in the prem.

Love of the fans, appreciation, being a local lad can have a big sway in matters and to say Le Tissier was never good enough to play for England or one of the top clubs is just wrong. He refused Liverpool.

Being a local lad can sway things...but he has been at his home club for 5 years or so. All's I am saying is it's only natural he wants to look back on his career having played against the very best, have a few medals and be the undisputed LB for england. I don't think it's true Le tissier turned down liverpool....i remember all those great goals he scored in the mid-nineties but he was a pretty lazy git.

I was joking mate.
I'm aware your not in the know about anything, due to some of your terrible opinions on football.

He's the best left back in the country and one of the best in Europe. He wants to be playing in finals, wining trophy's, being first choice LB for England. It's natural and what he deserves. Le Tissier was never good enough to be a regular for england or play for one of the top clubs.

doesn't every player want to be playing in finals but it doesn't override everything else. its always better when you have been a really massive part of getting there with a team you feel a connection to, otherwise why not sign for Celtic and guarantee it every year. do you really think he will be looking back at his life with massive regrets if he stays here. The point about Le Tissier is that he is remembered with a lot more admiration than a massive number of the no-marks who were in the right place to collect a medal of some sort. and Baines would have been first choice for England if Cole wasn't around, playing for United would have made no difference. by this logic we just sell anyone decent every year we don't win anything.

I bet you're on the verge of topping yourself looking at the new signings.

No, I'm more optimistic than I have been in years.

Class and Dignity.

Look it up.

Ironic really, because I consider 'dignity' to be recalling that Everton are one of the most successful British clubs in terms of winning things in history. The last 20 years shouldn't refine the previous 115 years that preceeded it.

I suggest YOU look up some of our history and try to recall what it's like to support a successful club. And then use that memory next time you think someone 'deserves to better than themselves, rather than play for Everton' - in my eyes that's an 'anomaly', how can you play for a better team than Everton?

Moyes just told press 'we hope to have business done by Monday'

Can't be baines, can it?

no... 'business done' is polite way of saying he is having a sh*t. could mean exactly that, or could be Suarez

Hoping not.

It's probably the same stuff he spouted to us to quell distrust. He's just spouting it to a different set of fans now.

I'd hope that if Baines has KB'd Utd once, he'll do it again.
