Everton have not offered Baines anything. They have not even spoken to the player about a new contract
Where is the show of intent from the club? When united put in that insulting first bid, Barnes should have been offered a new contract. As it is, as someone has already said, Barnes will now be sold to provide Martinez with a transfer budget. I really do despair at those clowns running our club!!!!!

To be fair from a business sense Baines should be sold if we can get 18 million from Man as he is 28 and a left back and will be 30 next year. Moyes made him a focal point in our team cos he didn't do strikers. Teams have got on to the combo of Baines and Pienaar. Baines will also want to test himself in the ****ty champion league like most players. We might already have Baines replacement in with Ovieda. I recken at the moment it all depends on how much Moyes wants him and how much he will buy him for.

If there is a business sense we would not have signed Kone.

Jesus, Kone is a good piece of business to be fair, he knows the premiership, he got pacy, he intelligent and is better then our strikers we have now and can also play out wide. He not for the long term, he is for the next 3 years.

Mate you are saying Baines should be sold from a business sense of view since he will be 30 next year and £18m is a fair deal. What is the difference with the Kone deal in that sense? He will be 30 and in 3 years time he will walk on a free. We are skint so this does not make any business sense for this club.
