Newcastle were the 2nd biggest laughing stock but they played better than us today.
With arsenal and united coming up we are in for a struggle

Anyway, back to being positive - we wont have to face that fantastically talented Newcastle team again until February.

Hooray, and they will have a new manager by then???:dodgy:

Let's hope so, Joe Kinnear is far too astute for us.

I'm staying positive now though.

What we could do with is another 'I feel good' thread to cheer us all up, as it did during the summer when everything worked out well in the end.

Sorry to disagree with you Neiler 'cause I generally like to agree with you

But to me the above looks a bit like Bill speaking. It's bullshit and doesn't really say anything. It's a statement meant to show him in a good light and it appears a backtrack on his behaviour during the summer. The grass isn't greener elsewhere and I think Davey has only just realised it. Oh, and the bit about 3 clubs being able to match his ambition is [Poor language removed]. I can think of at least ten teams in the PL that are above, level with or near to us in potential.

And I wish someone would tell Neville to keep his mouth shut next time someone asks him for a quote. These constant quotes being attributed to him are starting to grate now.
Great post and one i agree with

Its really does sound like BK's spin machine with that quote from Moyes.

Clubs have caught us up Villa springs to mind and i'm not even counting City till next year, its going to be hard for us to stay anywhere near the top 6 let alone get into europe again

We may be a bit gash at the moment but a bacon butty with a dash of brown sauce is really boss and will make you forget about Everton for a wee while.

In summary: get on the bacon.

Nah other clubs haven't caught up with us, we've gone backwards.

If we didn't concede so many shitty goals we would be ahead of most of them.

So when we sort it out we'll make top 6 easy (y) Even if it takes till next April lol.
