For me Arteta, his overall play wasn't up to his normal high standard, but with his two crosses ending in goals and the fact he always tries to keep it on the ground.(y)

Cahill scored a goal and put in a shift but he wasn't man of the match. He didn't get involved alot to be honest which was expected considering his lack of games.

Arteta drifted in and out but looked quality on the ball and his end product was very good.

Yobo was playing excellent until his slip. Castillo did well aswell I thought bar one or two long passes.

Big Vic, that was a real coming of age performence for me today, how mobile and strong he looked a years expeirence, international recognition has done wonders for him. Looks hungrier too.

Cahill deserves singleing out today apart form going with 20 mins to go you wouldnt have guessed he hasnt played in months. Won the game too.

Tought one but I went for Fellaini. Thought he was excellent in the first half. Actively made himself available, went for every ball, didnt shy away from anything and looks the player we needed. Just hope he doesn't get the Duncan Ferguson treatment from refs.

Soon as he settles the fans will love him.

I'd go with Victor. No one really stood out but a few players had good games.

But for the goal and the second half performance he just about pipped it.

considering the time Moyes had with the new boys thought they both did well, but thought Anichebe shaded the man of the match award in what was a good team performance.(y)

I know Castillo made one or two sloppy 40 yard passes but I thought he played well. His movement when our back four was very good, almost Manny like at times they way he moved to the ball and picked up possession.

When he kept it simple he was at his best, he generally looked composed and comfortable on the ball.

Fellaini had a good first half, second half he was a little hit and miss. He's only trained once with the team though so he was never going to be at his best.

All in all two promising debuts in a very hard game to come into.

Was very impressed with Castillo, so went for him.

Anichebe, Cahill and Neville all played well too.

Voted for Anichebe and think he played very well today. Especially as he was out of position. Also Yobo did great and OMG what did we miss Tiny Tim and he proved that once again. Great team performance all in all though and also credit to Stoke as they made us work very hard for it.

I think Arteta for us and Howard for Stoke being honest I do think Tim was at fault with both Stoke goals. And can any one tell me why we never got that penalty,The referee was awful .:@
