If the ref didn't deny us that penalty then I would have voted for him becasue I didn't see anything wrong with Fuller's goal.

I voted for Arteta, his crosses and corners were almost as threating as Stoke's throw ins today (which is a big complement).

Yobo for me, had his best game for ages

Amazing as you and I see totally different things on the pitch.

I thought he had a bit of a shocker to be honest.

Must have had a pillar in front of my TV.

As for MoM, I went with Cahill only for the game winning goal. No one really stood out for me today.

I thought Yobo was a rock today to be honest. One or two nervy moments but dominated there forward for most of the game. From open play I thought all out defence was solid, Neville included.

A rock?

Ok then, maybe I saw more than one or two nervy moments.

Perhaps I'm in the minority. I think he had a poor match by his standards.

You're right, there were a few nervy moments from Yobo. The goal that never was and a miskick near the end to concede a throw in spring to mind.

Overall though he played well, made some good tackles and looked confident.

And his hair looked pretty badass.

Am not amazed in the slightest Bill!:P

Castillo for me. No preparation at all for the game, thrown in straight away and looked very comfortable on the ball. Even noticed a few of his headed clearances were actually passes sideways etc etc. Always looked for the ball, and kept it simple 9 times out of 10. Looks a real prospect this guy on that showing.

Once he gets a run of games and training with the rest of the squad, i expect him to be running games for Everton from midfield.

Yeah, I didn't think you would be.

For me, he just didn't seem his normal self against Stoke.

He wasn't horrendous by any stretch but just didn't seem to be on top of his game.

Hopefully he'll be up to speed against Liege. In fact, hopefully the whole defense will be up to speed so that we can keep a clean sheet at home.
