Does anyone know why he doesnt want to come?

Who thinks that he snubbed us because we're not a "glamorous" club? Chelsea, then Juventus, you think he just got stuck up his arse and said "I aint playing for Everton"? But if it was Liverpool you'd think he'd say "yes"?

He might not have settled in England when he was here last time. That's what I think it is. I doubt it's because where Everton, he hasn't got many clubs after him anyway and where one of the few clubs after him.

He rejected Spurs last season, maybe he just doesn't like England.

In the state we're in, I wouldnt sign for us either.

Well scratch that one off the list.

Too bad Juve doesn't play hardball with him and tell him that he can either "go to Everton" or "rot in the reserves."

I bet that might get him to reconsider.

if he looked at any english press and any everton web site , he would have seen a club that has hit the self destruct button in the past 3 months.a club that hasnt proggressed since finishing 5th , a team that will struggle in every competition through lack of numbers , and finally a chairman who fails to deliver any of his promises and who's only means of funding the club is by acquiring long term debt.

if this deal was done 2- 3 months ago , we wouldnt have a problem.
the club have left it too late and ruined a big part of the appeal of coming here for quality players.

the damage has already been done , now heads have got to role imo.

kenwright has done all he can (which despite what people think ,isnt much at all) , moyes has taken the club as far as he can with the current chairman.
so now we are at the crossroads.

moyes out - so someone like dowie can come in , competeing at the same level as the chairman , mid table-bottom at best.

or kenwright out - so moyes stays and has a chairman that matches his ambition and the club can continue to compete at the top of the prem.

If he hasnt made his mind up by now he aint gonna. We should just drop all interest in him. It looks like a move to us isnt gonna motivate him and the last thing we need right now is players that need to be carried. [Poor language removed] him lets see if Crewe have got anyone we can loan. As for Mbia he keeps sounding off for us to come and get him. I remember Nugent doing that and look what happened to him. COYB [Poor language removed] ACT.

Anyone would help us at the moment, we need players.

And your wrong, he didn't flop in England. He flopped in Italy yes but Pienaar flopped in Germany, Arteta flopped in Spain.

These things happen, he's got quality, he's a midfielder and he would have been a goos signing.

How would you call his time at Chelsea a success or anything other than a flop. The difference between Tiago and Pienaar/Arteta is that Tiago did it twice.

The Chelsea fans I've spoken too said he was a solid player. Not Chelsea class but still a decent squad player. From what I remember he was solid, it's not like he stunk the place out.

Mourinho didn't want to sell him, he actually regretted it. Tiago moved because they signed Essien and he knew he wouldn't have a chance. That's not flopping that's called not quite being good enough for the best team in the country.

He flopped at Juve yes but that's it.

Well, he did twice in Chelsea (champion that year) and Juventus (second placed in italy)... It must be the same to flop at Real Sociedad and Dortmund isn't it?

By the way, Obi Mikel is a flop? I think Tiago had a far better spell and only left to play regular football.

If he doubts his ability in the Prem perhaps its for the best.but it seems strange he does not even want to prove he was better than his Chelsea career suggests:dodgy:

If the lad needs as much persuading as we`re led to believe, you have to question his professional pride.Either he stays at Juve in the sticks and training on his jack, or he has the chance to play first team football in Europe and if you believe it, the best league in the world.
If he can`t be arsed then fook him and move on.

Typical Everton. Other clubs break the rules and suss out if a player will come before they bother brokering a deal. We invest a week on doing a deal then he says 'not interested' ffs. We end up looking llike the ugly kid in a nite club on the walk of shame after getting knocked back by a very average girl.
