Anichebe over Jelavic?

I think he'll start Anichebe over Jelavic for the next game or two. Taking Jelavic off was a precursor for that. He does need a rest or be dropped for a while to kickstart his season in some weird way.

We also looked a hell of a lot better with Fellaini in midfield so it may be that either Naismith or Mirallas will get to play up front with Anichebe. Obviously I'm guessing loads and am probably wrong here.

I want to see Naismith being given an opportunity up front or behind VIctor or Kev. Jelavic just hasnt come out of this baron spell. Naismith needs an opportunity to change opinion aswell.

But will Moyes so this - No Chance!

Moist should ignore this thread and start Vellios against Bolton - that way Anichebe keeps being an impact sub, Jelavic gets the kick up the arse that he needs, Fellaini gets to stay in midfield, and GOT gets to perv.

Or stop focusing the attack on Fellaini and stop hoofing the ball up to the striker.

This all of tonight we where just getting the ball and hoofing it up to the attackers losing it then having to defend again. Some one needs to tell jags he isn't Zidane.

Or we could play either Naismith or little Kev there. Tbh anything just to get Naismith from right wing really. Neville and Naismith must be the worst wing combination in the world and every signal league.

I was very impressed with Vic when he came on. He's looking more and more like pushing Jelavic for a start. It was interesting to see that Moyes played Mirallas just off him too towards the end with Fellaini in a midfield four alongside Osman.

I think Jelavic is by far the better player. Vic is only good in the 6 yard box.

Listening to Sharpie on the radio tonight, he made a fair point. He said strikers want to be involved and when it's not going for them they end up working round the box and down the wings to make up for it. I think he's having a barren spell and his play around the box is because he wants to be involved, not so much because DM wants him in the corners.

His work rate can't be faulted. He's not 'gash' as he is often called on here. He just needs a break, confidence and may be the team to play like they did last year and not focus on Fellani. I truely hope that when Pienaar and Mirallas hit form, we will see some balls hitting the back of the net.

Back to the question...Jelavic every time! Vic for impact.

The cheb deserves a start up front, simple as. Naismith deserves to be left in a jungle somewhere to fend for himself, if he survives so what, Neville should be processed in a pulp factory like alan partridges autobiography, that way he might give something back to society

It was very frustrating, but I think we need to give Southampton a bit of credit for that. They continually closed down the space in front of the ball forcing us to go longer. We just didn't have the craft or off the ball movement to play a shorter game.
But back on topic, I think Fellaini should be back in midfield, with Vic and Jelavic up front together.

We have to go with anchiebe he's done well so far this season when he has played ! Jelavic looks down n mayb a few weeks on the bench will sort him out!

Long term vic's a better impact sub. But I'd definately start him the next game or 2 giving jelavic a bit if time to watch from the bench.

I think fellaini's effectiveness playing ACM is over.
