Love transfer windows and efc linked to everyone with a pair of boots!! For me I believe we must sel heitinga/gueye before you could even start about some of the names been mentioned here however I really do think we need to bring in a centre midfielder if it's the Belgian lad ofoe or someone else on loan. It's a area of the team for me we are lacking and with gibbo out it's a priority.

For me gueye could be sold as we have enough cover in his position as in oviedo/pienaar and young Kennedy so we could afford to let him go and if we got 2/3 million euros it would all go into transfer kitty

Who would give us that much?

I reckon 500k would be more likely.

Bid accepted for John Stones according to Barnsley's official Twitter

** Scrap that, it's not the official page and they've also only made 6 tweets.

I'll go find myself a corner to sit in :@

Apropos of absolutely nothing, an Arsenal friend of mine claims they're linking Rosicky with us, which makes absolutely no sense... but rumours are always worth sharing..

Sorry mate yeah they aren't skint but they aren't paying £65k to a centre half from what I'm told ...

Johnny if anything wants more not less so I'd be surprised if he went there .

Love is a 'wonderful thing ' but £35k a week for 4 years is nearly £7m an equally if not more wonderful thing .

But tbf he's on 50% tax anyway so he is only really seeing 32k out of that 60k where as for Ajax he'd be paying sod all tax so he would only be taking like a 10k pay cut to what he is acually receiving which isn't really that much in football terms.

I may be wrong about this with regards to what I have been led to belive about Dutch taxes(which I admit is not my strong suit) but either way sounds like Johnny is being a bit of a prick eh.

Top income tax rate here is 51,8% btw. Kicks in at a pretty low threshold as well.
