the amount of time this transfer has taken it was bound to be sooner or later someone made up the obligitory newcastle rumour. how long have we been linked with moutinho mow?

88 pages. that really says it all really.
 
On mine it is only 44, but I assume you have your settings at 10 posts per page versus my 20 per page.

I am surprised Newcastle hasn't been mentioned before this!

Two attempts and failed?

On his first attempt he was fantastic. On his second attempt he was crap for the first few months then got injured but came back and after recovering was consistently our best player for the last 5 games. Watch the highlights of his final matches. We wouldn't have beaten Newcastle without him, he was brilliant. He just needs to settle down here and he will be fantastic.

We will regret not signing him, we will.

Someone over stating his effect in the final few games i see! He improved but was not class and nor did he stamp his mark on the game
 
In the Blue Room (on the OS) there was speculation that his appearance in Sporting v PSV "looked like his last game" judging by his demeanour and rapport with teammates. Fans booed his every touch!

Well if that is true and that was his last game last night, I would hope we move for him this week and sign him.
 

The only reason that I can think of for the guys not rating Manny is because of the farce over signing last time,as far as I am concerned I would carry him here to sign.(y)

Hunch really mate, im reading between the lines on Moyes comments on him from the end of last season, and what he himself said a couple of weeks back.

Moyesy is usually good at knocking loan delas permently on the head as per Ferrari, Grav and Gardener he said he had a few ideas for a Manny Fernandes deal which for me hints at a loan deal like Pienaars! Manny said he expected someting to be sorted out in the next few weeks (didnt specifcally mention Everton), Valencia have said he is not part of their immdeiate plans.

Just putting the peices of the jigsaw together.

personnally i think if manny was coming back he would have been here weeks ago and not training with valencia.
i m guessing that moyes has asked for a loan and they have said no but we will sell at 12 million.
i still reckon moyes will want 1xgk , 1x cd , 1x dm , 1x midfeilder , 1x striker.

m'bia or topal will be the dm.
moutinho or fernandes or fletcher will be the cm.

i think to fill the 2 places i would prefer m'bia and moutinho.
obviosly moyes wants 6 not just 5 players , if the other place was a midfeilder then i would then have fernandes , but the money left and the price of only 3 million would unfortunatly mean fletcher would be chosen ahead of fernandesimo .
