Right back and well by all accounts

Yea played well, looked good going forward and pretty solid defensively. He had a few moments in the first half where he wasn't getting any support defensively from Mirallas and struggled a bit ( not his fault ) but by the back end of the first half Neville was coming over to help out and Mirallas tended to go central so we looked a lot stronger defensively.

Radio Merseyside make me sick =phone in approx only 3 calls about our 3-1 win & up to 2nd & all about the s"ite first win -Tranmere got more coverage than us on it FFS -Jacko was not on who the hell was it may as well had a red & white scarf around his neck - if I hear any more of the documentary on LFC - it even ended with a tribute to shanks I turned it off in disgust!

Anyone else think Mirallas just wasn't at it at all today. Not been overally impressed so far

He's not totally at the pace yet, but he did 3 or 4 things which no-one else in the team ( bar Pienaar ) could only dream of. The lad's a huge talent and I think we've got a bargain. Give him half a season to get up to speed with the Premiership before judging him. It's a big step up from playing in the GSL.

Neville was fine today, but we even when we win we have to moan. Im impressed there isnt a big vic thread yet.
Mirallas didnt impress me today or against Leeds

That's not what you said. You said he hasn't impressed you so far. So you weren't impressed last week? Or against Newcastle? Or against Orient? Or against Villa?

Can't wait til we put Osman back on the right wing.

Newcastle he frustrated me as all he did was shoot erratically. Swansea he was good, but so was Victor lol. Villa he played 5mins and even Naismith looked god against orient
