I'll arm wrestle you back to the stone age Michael?

Aye, we won today with, sans Gibson, our first 11.

Our squad players got beat against Championship Leeds, ergo, our squad isn't as strong as people are making out.

*flexes

You make 6 changes to any team and you risk getting beaten, it doesn't mean our squad isn't strong. Everybody including our best player had a mare that night, and we looked gash in the second half when it was pretty much our starting outfield too.

this season i'd say most weeks!

and where do i say he is a bad player and hes not good enough for our team?

what i am saying is there is alot better keepers out there! and that i would love to see one of those better keepers at everton but we dont have the money to buy as they would cost millions!

Wasn't talking about you mate, i agree with you that there are a lot of better keepers out there.

He's got to keep faith with a developing partnership on the right. They're a work in progress, but Mirallas and Coleman have the jerseys and they should get to retain them. It's well overdue that we have options on both flanks. I just get the feeling against more accomplished opposition he'll revert to putting Hibbert/Neville at RB.

I see your point Dave, but I think a decent left sided midfielder would exploit Coleman's limited defensive abilities. Sometimes his body shape is completely wrong, especially when someone is running at him. He made some really basic defensive errors against Leeds. He's done enough to deserve more opportunities to play at rb, but I think the opposition need to be considered carefully when giving him those opportunities, especially since Mirallas is new to English football, new to the team and would be the one to help him out defensively if playing on the right side of midfield. I actually think that having Neville in midfield is perfect for Coleman playing rb as you know he will cover when Seamus moves upfield.

Regarding Neville he's a smashing bloke and doubtless shouts and points with the best but in the harsh spotlight of the Prem he's lost his athleticism so is a weak link which needs sorting.

He makes mistakes most weeks that cost us goals ? My arse.

Players have good and bad patches, that's life, but saying Howard is a bad keeper or not good enough for our team is crazy.

People have short memories, same as the people proclaiming that Anichebe is ace based on the last month alone.

his distribution a and speed of thought when he has the ball is a problem. He nearly always reverts to a hoof which nearly always gives up possession. This is the biggest problem for me.

In my opinion we need a better goalie. But each to their own opinion.

Totally agree with this dave but unfortunately as soon a gibbo is back Neville will be shoehorned back in.

How do you know this isn't a result of Moyes' input ?
