Welcome to Barcelonaton FC
Nobody will say that. One thing Moyes is very good at is getting a losing team winning again. We've turned from dire to wonderful on a dime on so many occassions under him. That skill is what differs him from the phil browns of the world and is why I'm not remotely scared of relegation with him in charge.
What people will say if we get into an extended run of bad form is that Moyes can't produce it for a season. That it's all very well having hot months and cold months but you need a level of consistenty to compete that he hasn't thus far often achieved.
But I don't put much value in if statements. We might have an extended run of bad form but equally we might go on to win the treble.
Was just pointing out the two forms of fume.
Like you say, it'll question Moyes' credentials to sustain a whole season. But the fall back will always be, not him as a manager and tactician, but he's done "the best with what he's got" and his financial constraints.
Always happens.
