Fellaini

Sorry, but I disagree, I want to see Fellaini playing where he was tonight, every game. Brings the ball down time after time on his chest like the defenders don't even exist.

Maybe. Certainly play him there sometimes. I wonder if we need another centre midfielder if we do this.

there were a lot of ppl saying before that his best position is dm/cm. he definitely is boss in that position. but he is obviously just as boss at am. so do those ppl still think dm/cm is his best position?

Immense today. He really is a cult hero, and agree one of the best in the premier league.

My concern is how long until money bags man city, PSG, real or barca come knocking. Honestly believe if modric costs 35m, mofro is worth at least that.

He won't be like that all the time, and Jelavic didn't get involved all night or have anything to feed off.

Fellaini was great for most of the game in the oppositions half. When we needed someone to put of footy on the game, break things up by the 70th minute we didn't have anyone there with Fellaini up top.

When he dropped deeper, we had no outlet because we lost him from that final 3rd to hold the ball.

He can easily get box to box. But adding his ability to disrupt all over the pitch and talent to control the game, sticking him in the middle to get up and down means he can dominate all over rather than the opposing half.

Playing 2 creative attacking players on either side, and in front of him would benefit the attack creatively for Jelavic for eg.

It'll just improve us in keeping the ball which is always something we lack when it really matters

Yeah.

He's been boss at dm for 2 seasons now but had a handful of games up front. Done well yeah, like G Neville says, hes a great footballer so can probably play anywhere, and is an improvement on most other players in that position since Cahill went downhill.

Biggest problem for me still is that by putting him up front you lose him at dm and we have better options to replace him up front than we do at dm.

I wouldnt mate, id have him up there given the choice, he actually dropped deep in to midfield when he had to. I can see us sigining another centre midfielder before the deadline if im honest.

Im sure formation will change as the season goes on but in my starting 11 he would be up there.

We dominated midfield anyway up against no slouches, in England internationals Scholes and Cleverley. I think people underestimate how good Neville and Gibson and what they have done over the last 11 games or so in there.

If we're playing Wigan then we'd be best playing a creative player there I think.

Fellaini clearly is immense in that role but each game is a different challenge, and under different expectations/circumstances he'd be better further back I think.

Lads he's poor, one good performance doesn't make him a good player. RVP ON DA OTHER HAND IS AMAZING, CLASS IS TEMPORARY, FORM IS PERMANENT WUT WAT XOXOX
