Getting booed on, if we can hear it, he can too.

Some of our fans are mental.

Scored two goals and reacts as if "you were saying?", and everyone unhappy.

Didn't think there was a way back for him, but put himself about yesterday, maybe there is a slither of hope after all, whether he can win the fans over is another thing though
Nah. Bin him. Me Nan scores those goals

scored twice and several other good bits of play- well done 👏
Lost the ball too easily in our half several times when we needed an out ball to relieve pressure and could have done a bit more to run back to help… but Illy and Alcaraz lost the ball needlessly too albeit higher up in City half. Whole team needed a bit more composure and game mgmt those last few minutes … easier said than done I know

8 goals so far not too shabby when he's clearly struggled and played through injuries this year and struggled to adapt to the PL and life over here.

Not saying he's amazing or the finished article but he must be worth persevering with next season as long as we get another good quality option in (whether that's as Beto's replacement or not).

One thing that would help him is get himself off instagram and interacting with some of the divs in our fan base, do a little interview with the club and win some hearts and minds, admit his mistakes and struggles but affirm his commitment to come back next season better.

Then just get his head down over the summer.

He won't change the mind of some of the racist plebs in the fan base, but he'll win over some of the floating voters who want to get behind him but just need something to latch on to

He's a good finisher. He actually put a shift in yesterday and I think with him a whole lot of it comes down to scoring a goal. Whenever he scores it really gives him a boost and he starts grafting far more. The longer he goes without a goal the more his energy and enthusiasm levels drop which isn't a great trait. Needs to shift that mindset whoever he ends up playing for.
