2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Its all due to the price. Thats the main thing.

Don't think under any coach you'll see a proper player in Dibling for another 2 years and thats okay if he reaches a potential to make the price tag look a bargain.

I understand why hes not playing. I also understand hes one for the future and its how he's handled.

But for the now £40mill in an impotent attacking side with no pace is difficult to swallow.
To think the money we spent in the Summer on Dibling, Barry and Azou. You’d got to think 70m could have been better invested elsewhere. Starting with two quality fullbacks.

Bournemouth, unlike Everton, use all of their subs every week and have a squad full of players ready to come into a game. They also trust in their players and forgive them mistakes because a lot of them are young. It's paying great dividends and they have a much better squad than our supposed "big boy team".

Good recruitment over a period of time. All of their players coming off the bench just slot so easy into their style of play and more importantly they buy players who are comfortable just playing football. Ive said it before and its not a dig at the lad but bournemouth aren't buying thierno barry in a million years. Or beto for that matter. They're a footballing side who are slick and move the ball quickly. Complete opposite. The bonus they and the manager has is they can play without pressure. If they go away and get thumped 3-0 it doesnt create headlines. They went 12 games without a win this season. Nobody outside of bournemouth really noticed or cared. You aint getting away with that at bigger clubs.
How much say Iraola had on the likes of rayan and kroupi Im not sure. I think they recruit to cause as little effect as possible from one manager to another. No ripping up and starting again.
Love watching them play though.

….agree, as I repeatedly keep saying, nobody truly knows what’s happening.
What you have repeatedly kept saying since early last season was that Dibling was homesick, Dibling hadn’t settled, Dibling didn’t have the right character, Dibling wasn’t showing enough in training and you were repeatedly stating that on any thread you could. You were doing that to defend any blame or questioning of Moyes who can only be lauded for the good but never responsible for the bad and to be diametrically opposed to absolutely anything @Zatara says.

I can’t be bothered to vault you as I would find multiple posts of you claiming the above, it was an unhealthy obsession that you were stridently promoting. However, you are now insisting that “nobody knows what’s happening” and that’s what you “repeatedly keep saying” which is a stance you’ve only adopted in the last few weeks.

Is it his haircut that keeps you coming back for more of Tyler?

No idea if this lad makes it with us or not.

Screams panic buy if we were chasing Fofana for most of the summer - very different players.

One thing I'm pretty sure is Moyes is probably the last PL manager any promising 19-20 year old should be signing for.

Feels to me that Dibling has given up and doesn’t have much fight in him. With him being young he’s likely sulking and Moyes has seen that. Until he grows up and grows some balls to fight for his place and improve defensively he won’t be played until he does. I would love to see him on the pitch more. You don’t always improve unless dropped in deep end at times and game time is important. Moyes being Moyes though I can’t see that happening he’s stubborn and knows until he sees the effort you’re not playing unless you’re already his fave lol
'Feels to me' zero evidence then.
