To think the money we spent in the Summer on Dibling, Barry and Azou. You’d got to think 70m could have been better invested elsewhere. Starting with two quality fullbacks. Its all due to the price. Thats the main thing.
Don't think under any coach you'll see a proper player in Dibling for another 2 years and thats okay if he reaches a potential to make the price tag look a bargain.
I understand why hes not playing. I also understand hes one for the future and its how he's handled.
But for the now £40mill in an impotent attacking side with no pace is difficult to swallow.
Bournemouth, unlike Everton, use all of their subs every week and have a squad full of players ready to come into a game. They also trust in their players and forgive them mistakes because a lot of them are young. It's paying great dividends and they have a much better squad than our supposed "big boy team".
I've read so many of these now, but none of them actually Answer the Question that is put out..

We spend to much time throwing out words, rather than answers.
Still baffled by this transfer I can’t lie.

….i’d be certain it’s not turned out as planned, I’m sure the expectation was for him to play a role this season. The fact George was acquired and we’re now linked with the likes of Esmir Bajraktarevic can’t be a positive.
What you have repeatedly kept saying since early last season was that Dibling was homesick, Dibling hadn’t settled, Dibling didn’t have the right character, Dibling wasn’t showing enough in training and you were repeatedly stating that on any thread you could. You were doing that to defend any blame or questioning of Moyes who can only be lauded for the good but never responsible for the bad and to be diametrically opposed to absolutely anything @Zatara says.….agree, as I repeatedly keep saying, nobody truly knows what’s happening.
It’s just the fact we chased fast wingers all summer and ended up signing a non-winger
'Feels to me' zero evidence then.Feels to me that Dibling has given up and doesn’t have much fight in him. With him being young he’s likely sulking and Moyes has seen that. Until he grows up and grows some balls to fight for his place and improve defensively he won’t be played until he does. I would love to see him on the pitch more. You don’t always improve unless dropped in deep end at times and game time is important. Moyes being Moyes though I can’t see that happening he’s stubborn and knows until he sees the effort you’re not playing unless you’re already his fave lol
