Going back to Bilbao mate.Is that why their manager is leaving then?
They've also been better ran than we have for 5 years.
Suspect it’s as much ‘needs him to step up’ as wants him to….

'We want him to step up' - David Moyes sets Tyler Dibling new Everton challenge
The Blues boss has seen things he likes from Dibling and believes he can progress at Everton - he wants to see more from him, thoughwww.liverpoolecho.co.uk
This paragraph I thought very interesting & appears to be somewhat at odds to Moyes comments.
‘Football Association sources reveal how highly Dibling is regarded by England Under-21 coach Lee Carsley, who has made him a regular as they aim to retain the European Championship title they won in 2023. He is considered a key part of Carsley's plans, with both his talent and attitude greatly admired inside the set-up.’
Interesting the point about the Saints manager saying they didn't make it difficult for him. It kinda feels we are. Lots of fuss, have to do this, make him ready etc.
Gray's the opposite though, probably played more than he would've done due to injuries, might not have always been great but the experience will have been beneficial for him. Chelsea have obviously signed a load of players for significant fees who haven't been first teamers but I can't find a player who cost this much and had so little time playing. Gittens is possibly the closest but he had opportunities in other competitions and has been out injured.Archie Gray signed for nearly £40mill at Spurs. Played mainly due to injuries and they finished bottom, currently in a relegation scrap.
Chelsea have a squad full.

Give the lad some time off the bench.

It does look like a generational poor signing at the moment which even the sides at the top would be criticised for. It only looks worse given our financial context.
Going back to Bilbao mate.
