Not into Delap either. He was too good for us last year and done absolutely nothing in a team surrounded by better players than ours this year. If he was starting every game he'd miss a ton due to yellow cards and suspensions!

Surprised people would turn up their noses at Ben White. He plays at a higher level and would definitely improve the team.

That said, a lot of people turned their noses up at Grealish and KDH as well!

There’s no way West Ham will sell Soucek. He’s maybe their player of the season. He literally put us to the sword last week.

I would love Kayode but fear that ship has sailed. Otherwise, aside from his worldie of an OG a few weeks back against Forest, I like the look of Fernandes at Porto [accepting I’ve seen him play about 5 times]. Similarly, Martinez at Girona looks very good [again based on about 5 matches of evidence] and people on here who know more than I do have talked up El Hilali at Espanyol [who I haven’t seen much of].

All would offer us more dynamism at RB than Ben White, I reckon.

I absolutely love Seamus. He was such a good player but, let's have it right, his crossing was God awful. He was good at the cut-back. His crossing was really poor for an attacking full back. Other than that, brilliant player though.

You’re right on both counts [his crosses and his cut backs]. For me, it’s more the profile of the fullback that I want us to be in for. Our threat would be so much greater if you dropped a Coleman and a Baines, in their pomp, into this team right now. I’m done with the safety first, cross it in from 35-yards away from the byline approach. We need pace and directness, IMO.
