I could see why they’d want Delap, although I wouldn’t sign him
It doesn’t seem Moyes or the clubs style to sign on over 30 crock like stones
White would depend on price, and if they couldn’t get an actual full back - can’t see that one either personally
What's supposedly wrong with his attitude?I’d have no problem with Stones signing (on our terms) if we had not just given Keane an extension. However with Keane and Tarky getting on, seems odd to add another aged (injury prone) CB.
If we bring in a centre back I’d go all out for Esteve from Burnley, left footed, premier league experience (which the manager would like) 6ft3, solid player and has a lot of room left to develop. Think he could become an elite CB.
I actually think Ben White would be a decent addition as a squad player. Right age - unsure of his attitude. Doubt he’d want to be a squad player mind.
He doesnot into delay, he had his chance
Can Ben white attack down the right or is he another O’Brien?
Think he was classed as one when Moyes first signed him? But that was 2013...Since when is John Stones a right back
Because ?Opinion of one it seems, but I think Delap would do well at Everton. We'd need to get better at putting crosses into the box but, despite his form for Chelsea this year [which everybody knew was a dreadful move for him so young], he's an upgrade on Barry and to my mind, has more finesse and technical ability than Beto. In the right set up, I think Delap could bag 12-15 a year.
Ben White would be a hard no from me.
