Everyone was quite content at the start of the season to be looking for mid table with middling 50 points. Which we are still on target for.
This despite not having played a RB all season and starting Keane in nearly every match.
That is called " expectation management"..."no RB,
Michael Keane starting yada yada- we will struggle this year so would gladly accept midtable and 50 points"...( as opposed to a relagation scrap). Now it looks like we may achieve that, it does not mean this has been successful...we have just met our very low expectations, that is all....hardly a recipe for optimism and success.
