I think you have summarised the chaos of the early days of the Moshiri era quite nicely, except I would not call Onyekuru a joke of a signing. He had trouble getting a work permit when we signed him and couldn't join the club immediately, meaning he got sent out on loan to Anderlecht. Whilst the club could be criticised for signing someone without a work permit, it seems a little unfair to call Onyekuru a joke of a signing when he appeared to be a promising up and coming attacker who went on to perform well out on loan. When you brought his name up, I remembered how disappointed I felt that we never got the chance to see him play for us.

It is a joke that the club signed a player they couldn't even play. That was amateurish.
