Mixed sort of half for Idrissa.
To me he plays naff for a large part of the season early on especially then the last ten games is really good - perhaps cynically playing for a new contract offer in the last ten games of the season - no doubts about it the last 3 seasons he has played so well he really helped to stop us getting relegated as he was brilliant - if he stays he has to be used sparingly early on IMO .... he is 36 years old .....

Still one of the first names on the team sheet for me. The incredible thing about him is that he's still getting round the pitch so well. Who knows how long he could go on for if he has to adapt his game at some point and become a sitting player.
My only problem with Gana is that if he's in the team, we are way too defensive. We don't want him as a true box to box. He's a great DM.
But with him in there, along with Garner, it forces us to play KDH in the 10. Ideally, if we want to truly become a team that challenges in and around the European places, we'd want Garner and KDH deeper, with 4 more attack-minded players in front of them

I love him but still don't think he's good enough with the ball. I think we should be looking to the future.

Dawdle is a great word. Jones does that because his place is insecure and he tries too hard to make sure he does a Hollywood pass or dribble every time. Gana will hopefully have a field day against him.
I thought he's been a lot better on the ball lately and was solid in the first half and despite displaying energy later in the game he became significantly less effective as we had no presence in midfield. There's been am over reliance on Gana since he's return at the expense of other younger players who have shown glimpses of potential. Moyes has to be willing to let other players start in midfield or sub in for Gana.
Don’t like him and Garner together.
