In hindsight I'd probably not have allowed Moyes to extend Keane.

Problem is when he left the first time, we didn’t replace him and it cost us. Until we finally got a replacement for him, in himself and he joined the second time.

But he needs to be a squad player next season (at best)

We need (at least) 2 FB’s, a decent striker and prob someone to replace Gueye.

Keane as a 4th choice CB is a lot cheaper than buying someone else. We can only spend so much.

Some brilliant midfield performances from others when he was at AFCON. He was shocking when he came back but allowed to play himself back to reasonable form.

Garner was shone without him. Rohl did great against Forest. Tim pulled himself together. Armstrong had a couple of creditable performances etc etc.

Gana should have been used way more sparingly after AFCON. This season should have been the phase out season. No slight on him or his career, just the way it goes.

Love the fella, always will, he’s been a great signing and player for us.

However, I don’t think he should be playing 90 minutes every match and needs to either be getting subbed much earlier or coming off the bench second half, you can see his workrate dropping and him tiring every match, but the manager leaves him on - give his old legs a break Davey, there are options in the squad.
