He was awful and positionally all over the place for a few games after AFCON, and I think he should have been phased out more this season in preparation for the future.

Fair play, he’s been excellent the last few games, and ran rings round hundreds of millions of pounds of opposition midfielders today. Both defending and with the ball. A vintage display.

I think even if we don't get into any of the European competitions, we should take up the option for the one year extension. Clearly has a lot to offer still and I'm not sure he's really even slowed down at all this year

age is a number why do you hope he is phased out next season, the guy was one of the best midfielders on show yesterday, yes that is amongst your £100 mil players.

He is the most underrated midfielders in Europe and has been for the past 10 years, his numbers are immense

Looked leggy to me, and didn’t think he was getting close enough to people.

Much better second, put in a few great tackles, and great to set up the 2nd.

A very prominent poster here said himself and Ndiayes moral would be on the floor after Senegal were stripped of the AFCON. And that the manager would need to do something to make them perform..
