So when George has played well it's all down to him but today it was Moyes holding him back? OK.

It's horse for courses. Playing him wide one game may not be best in another game. Their defence is crap and were there for the taking - see our goal - Dewsbury Hall driving to the byline and crossing. If George and Ndiaye were receiving the ball and dribbling they would either have constantly fouled them or left behind and chances would have been created.

But we've literally beaten United, Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle who all have bigger and more expensive squads? I'm not sure what point you're making.

Well, take a look at Daveys post game comments... and honestly...we beat Amorin era Utd..nothing to see there, This Chelsea team are losing to EVERYBODY, as are Newcastle...Villa best win. Which one of those wins would you substitute for not losing at home to a [Poor language removed] Liverpool today or aee tgey all equal in your mind??

He’s too timid every week. Do people really see big swings in what he’s doing week to week? We play how we play. Sometimes the opponent is worse and so we’re on the ball more, sometimes they’re better and we have it less. But nothing is actually different in a real way. Every game since he took over last year is the same.

And so the question to ask isn’t just is it good enough right now, but is it good enough for what we want to be? The answer for me has to be no. So move on this summer. Sometimes things just end, and Moyes time with us over both spells has been really good, but now it probably just needs to end.

It’s the reserve keeper in the semi final all over again. We barely tested him either.

Sunderland can do the double over Newcastle in their first season back in the prem but we can barely mount a functioning attack against one of the worst Liverpool teams on our own patch.

Why can’t we just go at them? Ndiaye was picking it up one on one with Curtis Jones and coming backwards. George got one on one with Van Dijk and just lobbed a cross almost out of play on the other side. Any other team and they’re driving into the box having a go.

Ahhh okay, those wins only count when you say so. I'd have absolutely loved to beat Liverpool today. I don't see myself smiling for a few days to come because we never, but I just can't buy this attitude that it's all down to Moyes that we don't win big games.

During his 12 year absence what big grounds did we to and win which had fans in the stadium?
