2025/26 David Moyes

Some supporters having a go at most Everton supporters wanting a derby win just so they can retain their little comfy seat in the Moyes fan club.

They'll gloat at others if their hero gets a new contract too.

This is why we're rubbish.

Fans putting a useless and clueless turd like Moyes on a pedestal and criticising others who want much more.

Id rather finish 6th in your made up scenario.

Again, Winning today get's us closer to 6th, so what's your point? That we're still in a shout to finish 6th so everyone should be happy and not care about the derby? turn it in.

Good stuff, same mate. Despite being a wool and you being a scouser it looks like we actually agree which is nice.

You don’t want more. You want Gareth Southgate.

The 90s and 00s killed us a club to the point where it would be a miracle if we ever regularly compete against them again. None of that was down to the players or manager, it's how we were run off the pitch.

I think it’s a combination of things. Let’s not forget the owners were protected by the media , ex players and a lot of the fans which was infuriating. I remember reading leaked emails from certain individuals at the club and it was obvious then what Everton was.

They give themselves away at times, appearing to be very sensitive to be being questioned as to being a big club from a PR standpoint , those comments from the Belching Toad Rafael especially, yet their actions and words had nothing in common with being one.

A lot of sell outs have played a part in Everton’s regression mate.

Are Arsenal and Newcastle at home better teams than Bournthmouth? Bigger squads, better players?? Probably...just looking at squads before the match is part of the mentality problem we have. Bigger, costlier squads might win over the season but ffs, a well coached, mentally and physically prepared team can and should believe they can win anytime they step out on the field...i dont believe THIS manager gives off that vibe to be honest.

But we've literally beaten United, Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle who all have bigger and more expensive squads? I'm not sure what point you're making.

Im sure some posters have personal friendships with moyes or idolise him.

Maybe he was the manager when they were kids and better than whats followed.

Loving Doucoure as Moyes started him

Absolving Moyes of any blame for results.

Saying Moyes didnt sign players last summer

Are they Evertonians or Moyes worshippers? Its brainwashing levels of peculiarity.
Its kinda MAGA LIKE...MMEGA...." Moyes Making Evrton Great Again"....( sorry I felt the need to spell it out).

I can only speak for myself but I just think he's done a good job overall. The club is in a better position than when he took over and I think there's more to come.

Ultimately its all very well getting as high as 5th and getting an away win to Man U…or beating Chelsea 3-0

Your judged on where you finish after 38 games

If that isn’t in Europe and is in the bottom half then its ultimately no progress in my book.

Yes we aren’t in a relegation battle but if that is classed as success for this club now then we may as well give up!

Next 5 games decides the future of everton and it should determine the destiny of the manager
