2025/26 David Moyes

What could he do? They're bringing on quality from the bench that we don't have.
His other options were Dibling, Rohl and Alcaraz.

George was crap (I hoped for more) and Barry was Barry.

Our biggest crime this season was 75% of the transfer window because so many either aren't up to it or aren't being used for whatever reason.

That's why he isn't playing the kids you melts

Because he's a coward?

Or because he wants to throw them on without getting them up to speed with regular games.

One manager wanted to win today.

Another David Moyes derby performance.

Weve seen this all before.

How the heck Gana stayed on when he was dead on his feet for 15mins is beyond me

How was McNeil still on?

Where was Moyes fave Merlin Rohl who weve now spent £18mil on?

If only George had come on at half time to link with Beto.

If only Iroegbunam had come on for Gana

If only our manager was proactive.

Acid test and you bottled it again.

They’re absolutely pathetic and have lost their last 4 away and we gift them a double over us on our new ground.

McNeil starting. Doesn’t come off until 80 minutes.

Alcaraz Rohl Iroegbunam all left on the bench whilst pensioner Gueye blows out his arse.

Ndiaye disappeared in last 20 mins but god forbid we bring Dibling on in case he does something.

To top it all off we can’t even defend set pieces despite having a team of giants and we don’t score them.

Had enough of these consistent bottle jobs. Europe has literally been on a plate for us this season.

Bournemouth win at the Emirates, Sunderland win at Stamford Bridge, Forest win at Anfield.

We see the badge and absolutely poo our pants.

Come on mate. They've got quality all over. They were probably the better team midweek against the best team in Europe. They are a very good side having an awful season. They can still play well like they did today.

Other than the Anfield derby thats the only time I've seen them. Not a good team, no cohesion with them compared to a Klopp team

Not sure what else we could have done. There is still a massive quality difference between the two teams and squads.
Wolves beat them at home. They were there to get after.

We had more than enough to try and hurt them and expose their weakness. The manager went safety first which is what he does. His overall Derby record is beyond awful.

You all wanted George on for McNeill - he did that and he did nothing.

Barry was like playing with 10

Branthwaite went off

Get a grip you halfwits trying to jump all over Moyes because we’ve lost to a 110th minute corner.

Act like fkn grown ups.

We are all pi55ed off we’ve lost to them.
There’s definitely a mentality issue though. We fear them so much from top to bottom. That has to go if we ever want to get anywhere.

Didn't set the team up to get at their vulnerable defence. Moyes is too timid in big matches.
He’s too timid every week. Do people really see big swings in what he’s doing week to week? We play how we play. Sometimes the opponent is worse and so we’re on the ball more, sometimes they’re better and we have it less. But nothing is actually different in a real way. Every game since he took over last year is the same.

And so the question to ask isn’t just is it good enough right now, but is it good enough for what we want to be? The answer for me has to be no. So move on this summer. Sometimes things just end, and Moyes time with us over both spells has been really good, but now it probably just needs to end.
