19th April 2003 - Moyes' first Goodison derby, equalise at home to a bang-average vermin side, lose to a jammy goal.
19th April 2026 - Same story, but with a white-haired and far more wizzened Moyes.

Exactly 23 years, and no change in the momentum. Then, now and forever.... at least until we jettison that charlatan Barry into the sun. Beto too frankly. Need an AJ-style poacher, oh and maybe the odd ref on our side. That's not gonna happen after our protest obviously. It's always Kavanagh, Pawson or Attwell isn't it? Three horsemen of the apocalypse. They need investigating. Now.

He signed Barry, Rohl & Dibling.

He got George on loan.

You want Moyes doing a rebuild?

WOW
Where did I say I want Moyes doing a re-build? I said he had to do a squad re-build on a £113m budget. Was it a good re-build? No. Was it a functional and reasonable re-build? Yes. The club was on the verge of been liquidated in the last 18months, countless relegation battles and we could only attract those type of players unfortunately. Liverpool spent more on one player than we did on a complete re-build and prior to today, was 5 points behind them.

We’ve just lost a derby that we probably didn’t deserve too. In the summer it’s clearly evident that some players need replacing and a lot need shipping out.

Hopefully Moyes and committee have identified better players to get in the summer. Will they? Probably not. Moyes is a short term reign to stabilise us but do I want him signing his type of players? No. The standard of the prem has moved on from his idea of what makes a great signing for a prem team.
