*TX Bill calls for mob armed with bricks, torches, pitchforks, and other assorted mob related materials.

There all [Poor language removed]. We should be aiming for better these days, we are in europe and now need to raise the bar in terms of new signings.

I don't disagree with you but surely one must consider that raising the bar means raising the price more often than not.

Unfortunately, Everton don't have the funds that many of the other clubs do.

Your right to and extent mate, but one of the things i admire about Moyes when you look at what he did when he took over and since in the transfer market he turns good players into great players, hes proably one of the best in the P.L. and thats just good coaching cant be underestemated!

Giles Barnes is a decent player but i have to be honest i dont like his attitude, form teams down there i wouldnet mind Ryan Taylor seems to be a stady attacking right back with an eye for goal and someone we know Moyesey is intrested in as hes bid before.

Intresting to see a few names being lined up for the chop at Chelsea that i think we should have a look at : SWP, Tel Ben Haim and Sidwell.

So for me id be happy to take a punt on any of the below:

Barnes
Kightley
Ben Haim
Sidwell
Ledley
Ramsey (hearing some awsome stuff about this lad)
Mc Geadey

Important to stress i would see these signings as our domestic signings but would expect more established CL or Foreign singings coming in.

who is he never heard of him & who does he play for?

Lets leave it to Davy to sort out I'm sure hes already given Bill his list of wants maybe this is the reason he has not signed his new contract one thing for sure we need at least three players for me thats a right back, midfielder to replace Carsley(no disrespect but 30 odd games are to many for him to play now)and a genuine ball playing midfielder to supply the killer balls that never seem to materialise for us with present players

Should we call round and have a chat with him Roy:lol::lol:(y)

That is the trouble between now and next season. everyone and their auntie will know better than the boss, in Moyes we trust so let him get on with it(y)

I still think Diouf would be a good punt at 4mill no matter how horrible the fella is.

*dodges brick*:D

Think he's good but you'd be picking up that brick and throwing it right at him when he gets a red card in the deeper rounds of the UEFA/FA/Carling cup.

I could live with Dempsey. He can play the rt. wing and Cahill's/Osman's positions (and we also wouldn't have resort to putting Jags up as a striker if we only have 3-4 fit strikers on the squad). I think Americans need at least a season or two to get used to the no of matches they have to play in Europe. He was lighting it up before he ran out of gas. Dont think he would cost more than 2M either.

I like what I saw from Ramsey but if our transfer budget is only 8M-10M not sure if we should use the money on him given that we need players now and he's a season or two away from getting alot of minutes (a buy and loan back to Cardiff for a season might be a good idea though).

I'd love to see McGeady in a blue shirt but I don't think we'll be able to outbid NUFC (I hear they are interested).

I wouldn't mind McBride either (say for a free w/ cheap wages); I think he could come on like Duncan did and make a difference in a few matches here and there.

Bradley can poach some goals on corners and keep teams from daring us to shoot at the top of the box.

I haven't seen a mid who can pass who we can afford except for Bullard.
