Initial 10, then reduced to 6 + 2 Point Deductions

There always has to be negative Nellies, a significant improvement in the club position, improved a relatively small loss by Chelsea-accounting into an on the books profit.

All this in the old stadium, one should expect a significant upturn next year

Also converting loans into shares has significantly improved the clubs position, if not destroyed my personal share value.
I thought we reported an £8m loss?

...in the past Everton couldn't have dreamed about it because they had no world class facility...which was built by Moshiri and USM.

No USM = no Pepsi, Budweiser, Heinz..

Don't disagree with you Dave on that, but I feel we could have funded it a lot better if we were ran by professionals and we know who made it possible, Moshiri worked for him.

The loss is 8.6 million, that includes the gain on the sale of Goodison.

Probably easier for you to say sorry, I was wrong in my post. I certainly accept I was careless in my choice of words.

No worries, it happens to us all.
Well, I wasn't wrong.

Net Income is what you would call "book profit." You're just looking further up the P&L, ignore expenses like interest and player trading, and calling it "book profit."

Just google "what is book profit" and come on back to the conversation.

Well you were. I did not say net profit, you did. Anyhow, I have apologised for loose language choice, shame you could not reciprocate.

Enough said.

In all the changes, that in my opinion make the modern game so much worse, surely discussion/disagreements/ misunderstandings of what a book profit is versus a net profit must be the most soul crushing one.

Does anyone remember maverick footballers beating 5 players on a muddy pitch after downing a pint at half time as hydration and a fag to clear the lungs.
