I wish I had your standards. I'd be in love with the fourth division.
That's a heavy shout mate 🤣😭 I absolutely do have high standards, neither Beto or Barry have scored enough goals in my opinion - but in Barry's case I think he is still adjusting to the Premier League pace, plus it seems he's carrying an injury that will need addressing in the Summer. Beto seems to have been a bit low on confidence and until recently hasn't had a lot of game time. Beto last season proved he can make it in the Premier League but he needs to find that form again. As for Barry I think once he's bulked out and sorted this shoulder issue we'll see a more experienced player next season, hopefully getting more stuck into tackles etc. without fear of injury.

As far as lower divisions are concerned, Marine all the way 😊

You seem like a very nice person.

I wish I had your total lack of cynicism. Fair play.

Don't stick Beto in his bracket, Beto is a decent bloke who works his ass off, is he a great footballer, no.
But he puts it all out there..
ehhhh.... ive seen matches where he jogs most of the time. Point still stands tho, they are tall lanky strikers who arent good in the air, arent really good with the ball at their feet, arent good at holding up. The only thing I can saw for Beto is at least hes decent w the ball played in front of him.

Thank you very much I really appreciate that comment 💙 My fellow Everton supporting family members say I'm an eternal optimist 🤣 as soon as a player says Up the Toffees on camera I find it hard to hate them... until they move to another club 🤣

Ignoring all this stuff, he’s too lazy. Awful attitude tonight. Walked into a battle and sauntered around when they were passing it round him. Beto is awful, but he has intent.

Said it plenty times on here, we all habitually talk like we are football experts. But bizarrely when we sign a player like him who in their first appearances clearly have no ball control, skills, pace, strength, snide, vision, aggression, finishing ability, passion, competitiveness or likability, we go “needs time to settle…..speed of the PL…..still young…..he’s a prospect and one for the future…..needs a run of games…..not playing to his strengths.” Desperately hoping we haven’t ballsed it up yet again.

First impressions of footballers general ability aren’t often wrong, if you have eyes. He was crap and clumsy the first time we saw him, and he’s now worse, but richer. Has a disturbing desire for online celebrity status but cries into his hands after a bad game. Don’t mind him being gutted, but cut the social media crap and get your head down. More followers won’t make you less crap, hard work will.

And most importantly, stop posting about all the extra work you’re doing on your striker skills with the former coach of the Billericay women’s team. Just stay behind at FF, we have goals and balls there for you to kick. It’s embarrassing. We won’t need Vlogs of it. We don’t care.

Loan with an obligation. Take the loss and learn the lesson.

If you can’t get an obviously decent striker to join, don’t just buy an obviously unsuitable one.

I think everyone has seen that he's not very good but have supported him in the hope that making him feel welcomed and loved will somehow allow him to blossom as a player, the only problem is that there has to be a player in there waiting to bloom.

Sell him for whatever we can get and just move on from him.

I don’t think celebrating an opposition goal warrants being attacked like the videos going around show.

Poor from everyone involved.
It would have happened anywhere else.

They were in an away end with fans who'd spent the last 6-7 hours on a coach drinking and then watched their team lose at the death after a great performance.

Any fans doing this in an away end on an evening kick off is getting filled in no matter what ground you're at.

Indeed. But it's a sad state of affairs when people can't just go to a match and support their team without either provoking opposition fans or being attacked by them. The normalisation of violence and anti-social behaviour is sad.

That said, those fellas had no business in there tonight. And definitely had no business antagonising Evertonians. As for Barry, he had no business publicising it and lashing out at his own team's supporters. He's clearly not the brightest bulb and I'm not sure I'd want him on the pitch as part of my team if my life depended on the result.
