2025/26 Thierno Barry

If it's true that the kid got tickets for his mates, he's clearly made an error of judgement. We've all done daft things when we were young.

Violence can never be accepted in football. Not now that women, children and the elderly are regulars at football stadia. However, the Arsenal stewards are clearly at fault for letting them into the away end. I lived in Italy and deaths have happened there at football matches in similar circumstances.

You can just tell that his life is filled with cling on friends, about 60 "cousins", aunties, brothers, sisters and whoever else can fit in his house.
He's garbage at football but probably thinks he should be playing for Arsenal and not whoever everton are.
You know they're all yes men telling him he's boss and he's going to be at PSG someday as well.

People absolutely begging for him to slip up off the pitch so they can treat him like they did Moise Kean. Can see right through it. Disgusting.
When you say "people" who do you mean? Do you mean Everton supporters? This is how we treated Moise Kean.

I mean the ‘people’ calling for him to be sacked on twitter and the like. Yes, many took very nicely to Moise and to Barry too, but you can’t deny that some are malicious. I am not painting the entire fanbase as so, so apologies for that.

ehhhh.... ive seen matches where he jogs most of the time. Point still stands tho, they are tall lanky strikers who arent good in the air, arent really good with the ball at their feet, arent good at holding up. The only thing I can saw for Beto is at least hes decent w the ball played in front of him.
Thats down to the club, you can only play to your ability.
Neither are premier league quality strikers, but atleast one of them puts all their attention into the club.

Yes we need to move on from both, but watching a player put all he can into the club gives him leeway in my book..

He's been second choice most of the season, but comes on roaring the team on from the second he enters the field. The other casts a distraught grumpy look..

Some supporters are malicious yes. What's the link between Kean and Barry though?
Just not young strikers who aren’t being given much of a chance. Barry only 5 goals off his La Liga total last year and he still has what, 8 games to try and match (or better) it, would just like *some* of our fan base to give our bought young players the grace to grow the same way they often do with our homegrown ones. Dibling and the like are similar in my opinion (albeit for me that’s a Moyes issue in regards to no game time)

Barry has been given a lot of grace. The match going fans have cut him a lot more slack than many other players and given him standing ovations when he's been subbed off after playing OK in a clear attempt to help build the lad's confidence.

This is all completely separate to what's gone on tonight - sticking a load of your Arsenal supporting mates in our away end and then crying on social media when they face a backlash for celebrating a goal is proper shithouse behaviour.
