It's not even a different cultures thing because you'd be hard pressed to find an away end across Europe where if you were cheering the opposition you wouldn't get a rightful hiding.

I don't care about his mates, he's just not very good at football, certainly to the level we need him to be. We know our issues with strikers, lack of service, isolation etc, so you need a bit more to your game and he has not got it.

He will probably be banging in loads of goals in the SPL or something in a few years time.

I also find him to be a bit...odd.

Maybe that's just me.

Is it simply the system? Or simply not good enough for the Prem? He was fantastic at Basel and with Villarreal(La Liga is a tougher league than people think) so no way he has reached the peak of his career already at just 23 years old?
