If anyone in here had suggested recruiting Regis Le Bris as manager at any point in the past 10 years they would have been derided as a hipster on this forum. If you suggested it now I guarantee that he would be described as "flavour of the month" within the hour. It is not only our managers that are dinosaurs, it is a substantial chunk of our fanbase.

100% agree, however, he really does look good. I’m not sure I’d have wanted him before he got to Sunderland though.
Now would be the time, we are pretty much safe and have half a season to go

I have not once said he’s here to win the league!!

My main complaint his is god awful record in the cups esp the league cup!

Swansea, Birmingham, Palace, Leicester, newcastle have all managed to win cups and at times most with a lower wage budget than us!

Yet he’d rather finish 8th than go on a cup run and even if by chance we get near a cup he sh1ts himself…

we lost in a final once mate to a far superior team.

we all want to win something but if your using this as a stick then

it’s to every other manager we’ve had

We don't need to make excuses for Moyes - he's good enough at doing that for himself.

Just rinse and repeat though isn't it? Every year we want the manager sacked. It'll be the same next year with a new one no doubt. Been the Everton way since Moyes left the first time around.

But we're on a different playing field now, it's not Kenwright pretending to look down the back of the sofa for the Arteta money.

Expectations are raised and rightly so. The fans are being rinsed for every penny, so play some better football. Buck stops with the manager on signings, mindset and tactics. I don't care who the recruitment team is. Our recruitment coming into what should be a brilliant cauldron of a stadium is woeful. And that is on this dour, safety first dinosaur.
