New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

People say this but they can see who transfers and who scans in.

If you buy and transfer away you lose the credit. Easy.

For STH holders, aye. But if you buy one as a member, or your a STH who bought a seat other than your own, your ticket gets delivered by email, not loaded onto your ST. That way you can simply forward the email for somebody else to download onto their device.

I bought mine and my Dads ST seats, but my Dad fell off a kerb after Brentford (lighting needs improved) and tore the ligaments in his ankle, so he cant make it now. He cant shift his ticket so it will just be left empty. I might take his phone with me and take my lad.

Sorry to hear about your dad mate - Ive made that point about the lighting and shallow steps. Lethal.

Still think the excuse for not allowing any ticket transfer for cup games to be a weak one - as per your example, it'll dictate empty seats.

Its only been a thing the last couple of seasons.

Well, there's no question that the stadium is top class.

Means nothing though if people dont feel at home or comfortable in there. 🤷‍♂️
To be honest from my own personal experience, of attending the game yesterday and the tour today, I felt immensely proud of the stadium , and a little bit in awe of the sheer size and magnificence of it, was honestly lost for words, this is the stadium of a a top team , of an elite team , and that's what we have to and want to aspire to to get this team and to get Everton back to past glories . All this while acknowledging the reality that 'Feeling at home' etc as we have somewhat agreed can only take time. 6 months after Goodison first opened , I guarantee people didn't feel about it they way they did on the day of its final game

I got a full body search while going through the first entrance last night.
The fellas bleeper went off so i was taken to the side and told to empty all my pockets arms up for a full body search.
I dont know what he was expecting to find im 71 for gods sake , im just glad i left my pickaxe at home for this one.

The risk of a terrorist attack is currently at severe and for good reason.

Hill Dickinson and its fan zone is sadly a prime target.

Just get searched and move on.

They're searching for ale mate.
it is a result of 'martins law' that resulted from the Ariana Grande bombing, the law now stipulates that bodies organising large public attended events such as EFC need to do more to protect people from such attacks than they were doing
It is a minor inconvenience getting slowed down and/or searched on the way in, and annoying if they are preventing people taking in grub that they used to take into goodison.
There are anti vehicle measures on the approach
I'd rather that these measures are implemented than get blown up

Sort of undermines the gravity of the situation when they're making a big deal about taking a packet of KP Nuts off someone.

Tbf they were probably more concerned about things like tuberclorosis and diptheria than a football team moving fields.
But once all that cleared up 🤣you think they had an immediate emotional attachment to the place , or do you think these things take time , and things like identity, character etc, by there very nature are developed over time and through experiences and that goodison gained all this character and emotional attachment by having over 100 + years of history
