Firstly, the Keane incident warranted a yellow card at most. One of the most annoying things was being sat in the ground and not being sure what was going on, with no indication of who committed "violent conduct". That lack of transparency showed little regard for those attending the match.

As for the Grealish sending off, you could say he was foolish but should players be held to such ridiculously high standards of conduct at all times? People in many walks of life often act in the heat of the moment and that sometimes includes behaving in a sarcastic manner. Often this is disregarded in officiating. Personally, I am glad that our players have the backbone to question the poor standard of officiating, though they should not be immune from criticism for letting the game slip a little in the second half.

I should also add that Kavanagh seems to have an agenda against us for some reason unbeknownst to myself.

What recourse do the fans have available to them to combat what is clearly corrupt decision making from the premier league officiating?

I would never promote violent conduct, but there has to be some action that can be taken to clearly communicate the corruption will not be tolerated.

I can’t be bothered with people crying about referees. Particularly when they made the right, albeit annoying, decisions.

Both stick on red cards last night.

All the blame on the manager for a pathetic, cowardly set up and refusal to make substitutions. Oh, and the two players concerned. Anything else is just letting g Moyes and the players escape their own failure.

Absolutely spot on, this cryarsing about bad refereeing is disgraceful in the face of a team bottom of the league and letting in goals left right and centre, our own striker touched the ball 4 times in the first half, if you wanna complain, start there.

I'm sorry but I can't understand at all how anyone can say the Keane one is a stick on red card. Honestly it's one of the worst decisions I've ever seen

Like what on earth is going on that we have a VAR getting involved for that incident but they moss a stamp down the back of Armstrong's calf. Almost identical to the one in the Spurs Liverpool game that everyone recognised was a red card

It's not as simple as saying we were rubbish. Of course we were bad and and need to be miles better. But that should have no impact on the officiating. Ou chances of winning were hugely impacted by the red cards. And the Grealish one doesn't happen if one, the ref doesn't allow wolves to kick him all over the pitch, and two, if the Keane decision doesn't happen in the first place.

Both things are true - we were abysmal and the officiating was as bad if not worse.

I think it's more than reasonable to complain about both our performance and the terrible officiating.

More than one thing can be true at once though. We were terrible, and i've said as much in lots of different threads, but for me the Keane red card is an absolute joke. It wouldn't matter if we'd won 9-0 or lost 9-0, it would still be a joke. You can look back at all my other posts in this thread to see that I am definitely not someone who cryarses about every refereeing decision, far from it, but to me that just isn't a red card offence and saying it's a 'stick on' is laughable. The Grealish one I have no sympathy for, we all know you're asking for trouble doing that, but honestly if what Keane did is classed as violent conduct then things have got badly out of hand. People get seriously hurt by deliberate actions with no sending off, I'm not sure that Tolu even knew Keane had done it.

I don’t like the rule, it’s ridiculous but if the referee doesn’t give a red for that he’s incompetent and would be dropped by his bosses. The guidance on it and how refs have to apply that situation is clear. Diddy ex pros who don’t know the rules and angry fans, that’s it. There’s not a single referee that would think that’s even remotely the wrong decision.

Hearing Moyes bleating about it after the game is pathetic.
