New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

@davek too many posts - temp reply ban for monopolising.

Less frequency, and multi quote please. Threads need to breathe. It's a bit like being on a panel and just one person shouting constantly.

Have you been banned from posting in the Moyes thread by any chance David and are now using this thread to circumvent that ban by any chance ?
That'll be yes @COYBL25

it’s gorgeous although the atmosphere is a little lukewarm, understandable given what’s been produced on the pitch.

Talking to some fans i think some expected more of an actual new era yet it looks like it’s a similar feeling without off the field theatrics. New owners but a sense of similarity in certain aspects.

It's relying on Grealish and Ndiaye to produce the excitement.

Think I'm done with BMD already. It's not Goodison, yes I know it's going to be different. But I just don't have that attachment anymore like I did with Goodison. Everything about the place is a chore.
Genuinely don't think I'm going to renew.

Aesthetically pleasing; fantastic eye-lines, great environment for a stadium - but in practice not supporter friendly on too many levels.

Still, I'm sure there'll be another award around the corner from Regent Road Sound-as-a-Pound Builders Journal which the club can gloat about on the OS.

Becoming really tiresome when the club takes more pride in its stadium than its team.

First visit to the new stadium tonight. I have obviously seen lots of videos etc of the new stadium etc but they really do not do it justice - it is just spectacular, and as many have stated is fit to host a better quality of football which will hopefully come in time. However, the atmosphere within the stadium was a big disappointment , don't get me wrong , I went to plenty of games at Goodison where the atmosphere was flat, so not saying its a huge concern, and it may take time for those that regularly go to get use to the new surroundings and who they are sitting by etc. Also i am stopping in town and had a short 20 minute walk to the ground, arrived at the ground fairly early at 6 and had no problems getting in or getting served etc although I did notice more queues as it started to fill up. Getting out the ground also seemed fine to me but like I said , I only needed to get back to town

Yes, I love this stadium and the boost it's handed the club image wise. However, it's leaving a lot of people figuratively (and actually) cold now.

It needs Evertonising, it needs realistic pricing structures,, it needs a ticketing policy that doesn't punish ticket holders and stop them from passing tickets on to mates and family members, it needs to lay off the heavy handed stewarding, it needs better transportation...and that's before you get to needing a winning team.

I feel we have a great opportunity with this place but we're in the process of blowing it.
