CAUTIONABLE OFFENCES

A player is cautioned if guilty of:
  • dissent by word or action
If our players are stupid enough to give the referee the chance. Then it's on the player 100% of the time. However unfair the player may deem it.
But it's never consistent is it though? See players giving the ref loads especially the top teams and nothing happens. That's what annoys me. Do it all the time or not at all.

Regarding Keane's red card - the rule's name is "violent misconduct" or something of that sort which implies intent to hurt the opposition player, but Keane was in the air and just grabbed whatever he could and ended up pulling the hair.
There was no malice in his action, so i think it's unfair.

but Grealish...He just got one yellow for mouthing off at the ref, why couldn't he shut it for 10 minutes, he's been a PL player for almost 10 years at this point, he knows there's no one to replace him in the next game if he gets the red and he still couldn't help himself, well i guess the passion is there (lol), but really, he's supposed to be a leader in this team and this is not how leaders behave.

Anyway, i'll be rooting for Mali tomorrow, sorry Senegal

He doesn't class it as violent.

The rules of the game do.

It happened in the Womens Euros, it happened to Cucarella recently too. It's not like its something that has happened before.

By the rules of a game it's a red. The ref had no choice but to give it once he saw it.
Why, so they bring in a stupid rule due to the women’s game and carry it over to the men’s and it results in farcical decisions like this.

It’s outrageous and they should come up with to codes in chance.

Broke my back and ankle on the 2nd and it's been a horrendous few days.
It's basically out an end to my season ticket for the next few months. On the last two showings? Well I'm not saying I'm glad I've got this injury happened but bloody hell least I've a good excuse to be able to not make it to these horrors shows.
