Maybe it means he should know what he has to do as he’s not fulfilling some of the basic requirements of his remit. He’s not a junior any more and has to find solutions.

Sometimes players need a bit of tough love to light a fire under their backsides. Also, requiring a player to engage intellectually and come up with their own solutions can help them improve as well.

Keane has been excellent this season but he was clearly not fit enough to go straight back in the team the other day. Was a yard behind even some of our slow coaches. Hope he is match fit today but i have a feeling Moyes would still play him if he needed crutches with the speed he put him back in last time.
