This time last year you thought “3 losses in 14” and 16th in the table was acceptable. They’re your standards, don’t be talking to anyone else about dumbing down expectations.

3 losses in 14 matches.

That' doesn't get you sacked at this club these days.

Dyches form suggest he’s the horse that can no longer finish, can’t stand up, and needs putting out of its misery..

Does it? Three losses since September? Does that sound like a collapse to you?

We have a manager - he's the one who's managed us to just 3 losses since the 21st September.

Can you imagine what the reaction would be elsewhere if we got shut of him...and what any incoming manager would feel he had to do to keep the pitchforkers at bay?

Sometimes you have to step back and see the bigger picture.

3 wins in 18. Relegation form.

...and yet 3 losses in 12 says not.

We have 2 down for sure; and I fancy our chances of at least staying ahead of Leicester who have relegation beginning to stink all over them again.

...and they used their new managerial bump card.

We'll finish 15th or 16th I reckon.

No panic here WHATSOEVER.

We would have been gone if Dyche had stayed Dave.

How can you say that?

3 losses in 14 games and running into a load of winnable fixtures for two months.

We were nowhere near done for with Dyche. People are looking to justify this decision. I understand that...because if you cant justify it it means this: these owners are as 'kin crazy and unstable as that divvy Iranian who just slung his hook.

People are telling themselves stories for comfort here.

its a term that seems to have escaped the football lexicon as tactics and roles have become more vogue

I think it depends entirely on TFG's attitude to what they expect of Everton: if they want europe and / or trophies they'll punt Moyes this summer if we dont get into Europe...and certainly if we dont get top half in this crap league.

If they see us as an investment to be kept in the PL until they sell us on for a massive profit they'll extend Moyes' contract.

That'd be my guess.

No, I wasn't. I disliked him then and way before that - and I always will.

I've put my cards on the table: I dislike him intensely and I want him gone. Full stop.

A lot of games still to play.

All considered - last 2 seasons, and our summer spend and manager and club captain talking Europe - let's hope we can kick on and ensure we finish top 10. That would be expected progress.

We’ve got a poster in here who just openly and blatantly states he has a personal agenda against the Everton manager that has nothing to do with results/football, whose aim seems to be to inflame and create instability and division in the fanbase in order to get the manager that he’s decided he doesn’t like out of the club. Why should we be civil in response to that?
