January Transfer Window 2026

Most games ino wide players shouldnt be played for the full 90, also when off form can rotate. Push grealish ndiaye central, should always be looking for better players. If not why not just keep mcneil, club can always upgrade the squad i like the profile of johnson who we could just be agent talk to get more clubs in for him. Or if west ham was looking sell summerville ir like take a chance on if was at a hood price

We know that with Moyes whoever starts the game is most likely going to finish it unless he throws the odd sub on. So as a 4th choice wide player it narrows the options down substantially.

Thats why id go for a young player to develop behind Grealish.

It’s only 4 months until he’s back to City. Call that 3 months by the time we actually sign someone. How much can anyone learn on the bench in that time?

Regarding Lewis-skelly , an Arsenal friend of mine said he's very unlikely to leave this window even on loan due to their squad injuries and that he's very much in the mold of an Alexander Arnold that despite his attacking prowess is lacking on defense, which if that's the case , Moyes would not be interested in him anyway
Apparently he is quite happy just being in the background at Arsenal atm from what I have heard from someone.

Maybe cant say wrong will be a time here moyes will have a better bench and if bot using the players enough will be questions asked. Is part of the modern game now using the bench because of the increased subs. My worry you say develop and i think of aznou and we really need a player closer to the first 11

I cant see Moyes not signing him. I also cant see Grealish going anywhere else.

Well, Aznou is a bit different because he's a left back. Theres typically only 2 full backs in the squad.

He's been purchased for next season and it appears that being in and around the first team squad is developing him for the league. We know Moyes took ages with Dibling and Aznou is a defender so will take longer.

On the left wing we dont actually need an instant starter. If Grealish is out Moyes would probably use Ndiaye there. If hes out, Rohl, Alcaraz or whoever there.

So the backup to Grealish should be someone to develop i think and the only chance of them getting on the pitch would be a miracle.

Could probably have Braiden Graham around the squad as that backup player if the staff think he's potentially going to be a top player in 3 years. I'd go for Monga though.

Possibly, but I bet City will think they can get much more than that for him at a CL club.
I wouldn’t even rule out a return to Villa for him.

@hetion following on from the ball winning chart for Iroegbunam :o

Do you have anything similar for attacking right back metrics for those u23 ?

May give us an idea if were using data to sign any once the links appear...

Strand Larsen has been dropped by wolves, he's been booed by his own fans in recent times. Don't know if he's the most dynamic player in the world either. Bit of a risk that one mate.
Fair enough, he’s just a pretty stereotypical Moyes striker and would be available, you would assume relatively cheaply. If we could get him in and Beto out for negligible if any net outlay, it’d change our striking options pretty dramatically.

Obvs if he’s a colossal knobhead then probably disregard what I’ve said.

Yeah I'll post whatever I can find on links as they come up!

Fwiw (and I've not watched any of him and he's played further forward at times) Juanlu is showing up very well in the data so I'd be happy if he was still a target

Anyone scouting ACoN?
It's bad. and a borderline bloodbath every game. Some of the challenges have been outrageous. Properly 60's era lets break some legs stuff.

And the refereeing, multiple personality reffing based on the minute. The better goal scored seems to affect how offside you can be, the over head the other night was clearly off.
