January Transfer Window 2026

We know that with Moyes whoever starts the game is most likely going to finish it unless he throws the odd sub on. So as a 4th choice wide player it narrows the options down substantially.

Thats why id go for a young player to develop behind Grealish.
I’m sure he’d make more subs if he managed a CL level squad. The better the options, the more changes any manager will be willing to make

I cant see Moyes not signing him. I also cant see Grealish going anywhere else.

Fans love him
Can rock into training late
On the lash isnt a deal breaker
Love one another
Starts every game

£15-20mil and £150k a week.

Well, Aznou is a bit different because he's a left back. Theres typically only 2 full backs in the squad.

He's been purchased for next season and it appears that being in and around the first team squad is developing him for the league. We know Moyes took ages with Dibling and Aznou is a defender so will take longer.

On the left wing we dont actually need an instant starter. If Grealish is out Moyes would probably use Ndiaye there. If hes out, Rohl, Alcaraz or whoever there.

So the backup to Grealish should be someone to develop i think and the only chance of them getting on the pitch would be a miracle.

Could probably have Braiden Graham around the squad as that backup player if the staff think he's potentially going to be a top player in 3 years. I'd go for Monga though.
Not happy at all if that was the option going forward out wide simply not good enough for me. Burnley when players was out showed that we need better quality around the squad. Agree would like a monga to develop keep around the squad.

Yeah I'll post whatever I can find on links as they come up!

Fwiw (and I've not watched any of him and he's played further forward at times) Juanlu is showing up very well in the data so I'd be happy if he was still a target

Any other RB players looking good at u23 level on the metrics?

50m gives us exclusivity. A lower fee puts us in a bidding war. If he wants to join us then we shouldn’t invoke the clause. There’s no way we will pay 50m for him

Bidding war against ourselves lol he'll want to join, City want him gone and id be amazed if the fee was over £20mil

That’s my point. We aren’t paying 50m so we go back into a pot. Clearly if no one else bids then it’s a straight negotiation

Regarding Lewis-skelly , an Arsenal friend of mine said he's very unlikely to leave this window even on loan due to their squad injuries and that he's very much in the mold of an Alexander Arnold that despite his attacking prowess is lacking on defense, which if that's the case , Moyes would not be interested in him anyway
Arsenal won't be letting ANY player leave. They have a legit chance of winning all comps this season

It's bad. and a borderline bloodbath every game. Some of the challenges have been outrageous. Properly 60's era lets break some legs stuff.

And the refereeing, multiple personality reffing based on the minute. The better goal scored seems to affect how offside you can be, the over head the other night was clearly off.
I've tried to watch a couple of games.....

It's worse the standard is getting. Right across the board. Referees, players, Pele definitely got that prediction wrong that an African team would soon win a world cup.

He went everywhere and told everyone they were dead on certs to win a world cup and soon. Being paid and guest of honour had nothing to do with it of course.

Not to my untrained eye - it's also tough because FB profiles can look VERY different depending on what you want them to do. Hard to say what kind we're looking for really.

I've mentioned him before but Emil Holm at Bologna has had a cracking few seasons back to back and gone a bit under the radar - he's 25 which is a good age to target especially if we're going to be bringing Aznou in on the other side, and he's very solid and physical so would probably translate to the PL...just a totally random shout though, no links or anything. Only concern is basically all of Bologna's FBs look good in the data so it might be a bit of a style of play thing
