Could be. Just to have him on for a couple of mins may have given him a boost.

….my take on that was somebody signalled to the bench that they were struggling, they got a replacement ready but the player then said they’d be fine to finish.

It happens, just get on with it. Aznou will have been aware of the discussion, he’s a professional.
