That’s never a pen for me. It’s nothing like any of the handball decisions against us either, the biggest similarity would be to the Keane one against Sunderland which also wasn’t given.

I love it when people ask why are the rules not black and white.

They need them to be "open to interpretation" so that they can manipulate them to go with whatever reslut they want the match to go.

I genuinely think the PL have the league already decided at the start of the season. Then they just adjust as the season goes on and they just tell the refs what results they want.

They cant 100% guarantee a result but they can 100% influence it the way they want too.

There’s a suggestion it did but was deemed not clear and obvious, least my coverage indicated that ‘ref’s decision will stand’

I actually agree with that. But it's knowing that we'll see a pen given for it within like 2 weeks which is maddening.

English football got what it wanted. All over Europe the handball rule is very strict and so there is not much controversy. People lose their heads over that being applied here so this is what you get instead.
