Lukaku once and then we are back to Lineker !I think it’s hilarious when people suggest we just go and get a 20 goal a season striker.
We have had one in the last 35 years.
(Occasionally we get someone who manages it once across all comps).

They mentioned his goals to game to ratio as being decent but said he's such a rancid player it's like playing with 10 men
No they say the same things we used to say, he can't dribble, he has average pace, his touch is inconsistent, his passing is sloppy and he's just generally very ordinary. Some of them seem to think that because he`s Brazilian, he should be able to play like Pele.
They also seem to want to compare him to Kane too.
If it was a loan, it would be a total no brainer.

I swear some people just want to make pithy remarks instead of actually engaged with what you're saying.Wolfermade has 5 goals and Ekitike 7. That’s probably the stat you need to compare. Not sure if you actually watch football though.

My point is comparing two strikers by their goals over a short period when one is on a poor finishing streak and one is on a good one doesn't actually teach you anything about likely future performance.
Long term Barry probably turns out to be a bit worse than Woltemade but one cost fully three times as much. And even when you pay that fee you might still get a Sesko instead.
My memory of Richarlison at Everton is different. No they say the same things we used to say, he can't dribble, he has average pace, his touch is inconsistent, his passing is sloppy and he's just generally very ordinary.
Well I wasn't his biggest fan though I loved his spirit. If he's not good enough for Spurs then he's not good enough for us if we want to progress. Looks like we'll have to agree to disagree on this oneMate, so far this season he`s potentially scored two goals of the season, that`s on top of all the other goals he`s scored.
Our centre forwards have scored two goals between them.
I`m going with my own eyes, over some crazies on a Spurs forum.
Who cares how the goals go in, as long as they go in.
And by the way, who are these Everton fans saying all the " things we used to say " about him, as he was worshipped by the vast majority of our fans, between him and Pickford, they kept us up in his last season.
Strange people who spend time on a football forum but don't actually watch the game. Probably doesn't exist though does it.And I swear some people have never watched a game of football in their life, they just look at the stats afterwards.

Literally just doing the same thing over and over lolI’ll check the xG stats on it and get back to you.

Have a nice night pal
He would definitely improve usWhy would anyone be concerned by what one or 2 Spurs fans say? I’ve watched him play for nearly a decade. He’s clearly not ‘rancid’
The problem for spurs isn't that Richie is putrid or whatever it's that no other attacking players are contributing a significant amount of goals, so further fan scrutiny is directed on him. Romero, a cb had to take it upon himself against Newcastle to get into attacking positions to compensate, but I wouldn't put that on Richie. Imagine if we had a striker that scored six goals so far this seasonThey mentioned his goals to game to ratio as being decent but said he's such a rancid player it's like playing with 10 men
